Welcome to Universal Film Academy. By enrolling in any program, workshop, or course offered by the Academy, every student agrees to the following Terms and Conditions.

These rules are designed to maintain professional discipline, ensure safety, and uphold the educational values of the institution.

🎓 1. Admission and Enrollment

1. Admission to any course is subject to eligibility criteria and seat availability.

2. The Academy reserves the right to reject or cancel admission if any information provided by the student is found false or incomplete.

3. Students must submit all required documents (ID proof, educational certificates, passport-size photos, etc.) during admission.

💳 2. Fees and Payment

1. All fees must be paid as per the prescribed schedule and mode of payment.

2. Once paid, fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, except in cases where the course is cancelled by the Academy.

3. Late fee payments may attract additional charges as per institutional policy.

4. No certificate, mark sheet, or recommendation will be issued to students with pending dues.

🎬 3. Code of Conduct

1. Students must maintain discipline, punctuality, and professional behaviour within campus and during all Academy activities.

2. Any form of harassment, discrimination, ragging, or misconduct will lead to disciplinary action or expulsion.

3. Respect for faculty, mentors, staff, and fellow students is mandatory.

4. Students must follow dress code and equipment handling rules during classes and shoots.

5. Mobile phones must remain on silent mode during lectures and screenings.

🎥 4. Use of Equipment and Studio Facilities

1. Students will be held responsible for any damage or loss to Academy property, cameras, lighting, or other equipment used during training.

2. Equipment must be booked and used only with permission from the technical department.

3. Food, drinks, or smoking are strictly prohibited in studios, editing labs, and classrooms.

4. Students are expected to return equipment on time after every project or practice session.

🧾 5. Attendance and Academic Requirements

1. Minimum 75% attendance is required to appear for final evaluation or certification.

2. Absence without valid reason or prior approval may affect academic performance.

3. Students must submit assignments, films, or projects before deadlines.

4. Internal assessments, workshops, and participation in practical sessions are part of academic evaluation.

📽️ 6. Film, Media, and Creative Rights

1. All student works produced during training (films, videos, scripts, etc.) are jointly owned by the student and Universal Film Academy for educational and promotional purposes.

2. The Academy reserves the right to screen, exhibit, or publish student works in festivals, online platforms, or publicity materials with proper credit.

3. Commercial use or external submission of student films requires written permission from the Academy.

🔒 7. Privacy and Media Policy

1. The Academy may capture photographs and videos during classes, events, or productions for marketing and documentation.

2. By enrolling, students consent to the use of their images, videos, and creative works in Academy brochures, websites, and social media.

3. Personal data of students will be handled in compliance with institutional privacy policies and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

1. The Academy has full authority to take action against students violating institutional policies, including suspension or expulsion.

2. Any legal disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

🧠 9. Intellectual Property & Plagiarism

1. Students must create original content and respect copyright laws.

2. Any plagiarism, duplication, or use of copyrighted material without permission is a serious offence.

3. The Academy may deny certification or project approval in such cases.

The Academy reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated versions will be available on the official website and notice board.
